Anna Kennedy
Anna Kennedy is a film and media composer based in Los Angeles. She fell in love with music at a young age - inspired by the magical and timeless scores of John Williams, Hans Zimmer, and Alan Menken.
Anna studied film scoring at California State University, Northridge. Once graduated, she began her career working at Remote Control Productions (Hans Zimmer's studio) for several years. Anna currently works as an assitant for William Ross (Obi Wan-Kenobi, Galaxy's Edge, The Tale of Despereaux) and scoring films as a freelance composer. She has honed her composition, production, and project management skills through her experience with these studios and composers.
Most recently, Anna has scored the short films Unbound directed by Emmy Award-winner Sarah Moshman, the true story of Dr. Anna Fisher, the first woman to go to space, starring Lauren Lapkus (Orange is the New Black, Jurassic World) and scored the short film A Mother Is Born, also directed by Sarah Moshman and is currently in the film festival circuit.
While Anna is not composing, she enjoys spending her free time with family and friends, trying new restaurants, and going to the beach.
